B&W Diamond

Bowers & Wilkins worked with BMW to do something that had not been done before: use their innovative Diamond tweeter design in an automobile sound system. B&W initially developed the Diamond tweeter in 2006, taking advantage of new technology that allowed for making ultra-thin diamond materials. The thin diamond tweeter material is super-rigid and does not distort until well beyond the limits of human hearing; creating the sweet, clear, and neutral high-frequency sounds for which B&W speakers are renowned.
