Add Smart Lighting to Any Space With Lutron’s Wireless Systems
Reduced Wiring Needs Make Them Ideal for Retrofits or Remodels
Though wireless technology seems like a fairly new development, Lutron looked into it as early as 1991. In search of a reliable, low-latency solution ideal for retrofit jobs, they decided they needed to create an RF communication standard of their own.
They spent the next 30 years perfecting their Clear Connect RF technology with one goal in mind: wireless systems that are retrofittable, easy to install, compatible with multiple load types, and aesthetically pleasing for the end user. The question isn’t whether a Lutron wireless lighting solution is the right choice; the question is which one you should opt for in your home in Canton or Atlanta, GA.
As Lutron dealers, we have the expertise needed to gauge your needs and advise you on the system that would work best for you. Below are just some of the many Lutron options available.

Caseta
The company's entry-level wireless system offers lighting control through smart dimmers and switches, unlike more expensive alternatives requiring hundreds of smart lighting fixtures. You’re able to incorporate the LED bulbs of your choice along with third-party smart speakers and thermostats. In addition, the Smart Bridge allows for latency-free controls that won’t slow down your home network. Through Caseta, you’re able to create lighting scenes and schedule them when needed. Though great for smaller spaces up to 2,500 square feet, Caseta does have limitations on the number of devices (75) and models you can incorporate.
RadioRa
The original wireless lighting control system is still available, with its third iteration announced earlier this year. RadioRa2 Select allowed for up to 7,500 square feet of coverage and a 200 device limit. More importantly, RadioRa2 Select stood out for allowing greater customization. Going beyond standard Pico keypads to integrate stylistic keypads, smart plugs, and greater app control.
RadioRa3 added a spark to the system in 2021 with extended wall control options, IoT connectivity, an improved PoE processor, and new app controls. RadioRa3 allows your Lutron dealer to integrate home automation systems and deliver tailor-made controls more easily. In addition, the SUNNATA RF keypads come in a wide range of contemporary colors and touch control technology through a light bar.
Palladiom Wireless Shading
Lutron is known as much for its wireless shading solutions as it is for its lighting control. In 2021, they announced a battery-powered version of their premier Palladiom shading line. The shades come with a minimal profile ideal for any interior design, and you can create a luxurious feel throughout the house by pairing them with sleek Palladiom keypads. Batteries last for up to five years, with easy replacement without removing the shades. Find the perfect match with shades available in seven hand-finished materials and seven different bracket colors.
